Paddle the Upper Part of the Schuylkill

September 3, 2017 @ 9:00 am UTC-5

kayak the schuylkill with Take It Outdoors Adventures

Paddle the upper part of the Schuylkill River in Schuylkill County.  If you haven’t seen the upper part of the Schuylkill you will be suprised that it’s the same river that runs through Chester, Montgomery & Philadelphia Counties.  We will paddle this narrow and twisty river in the shadow of the Appilachina Mountains and experience the infamous “Chutes” for a little thrill.  How will you react to the Chutes?

We will meet at TIOA at 9:00am to load people/kayaks into the van/trailer.  Our driver will take us to the put in and pick us up at the take, which eliminates the need to shuttle vehicles. We will stop somewhere along the way so we can get lunch, snacks and a bathroom break before the river trip.

We will paddle about 12 miles where the driver will pick us up to take us back to Linfield.

There is limited seating so sign up now.

Cost if you have your own kayak – $60 – Includes shuttle of you and your boat, certified guide and logistics

Cost if you need to rent a kayak – $105 – Includes kayak, PFD, & paddle rental, shuttle, certified kayak guide and logistics

WE WORK HARD ON LOGISTICS BASED ON YOUR RSVP.  PLEASE RESPECT OUR EFFORTS AND THOSE ON THE WAITLIST, AND DON’T BE A LAST MINUTE BAILER OR A NO SHOW!!!
