Paddle The Delaware River

July 8 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm UTC-5

This will be an easy paddle on the Delaware river. The Delaware river offers a wide range of scenery as flows in between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We can enjoy a leisurely paddle on a (if the weather cooperates) sunny day, and if it is a little cloudy, we will still make the best of it! This section is a great one for that, about 10-12 miles of light riffles, side streams, and small islands.
We will meet at tioa headquarters, load boats and gear. Our driver will take us up to our put in, stopping at a wawa (or equivalent) for those who need lunch or snack on the water. We will paddle down river, stopping for lunch along the way. After we reach our take out, we can swing by a local resturaunt for a bite to eat and a drink to finish off the day.

Cost without rental: $75
Includes- transportation of you and your boat, logistics of trip, driver, and certified guide with cpr and first aid training. Cost with rental: $120

Switzerland Trip Day 1 - 10 people coming from Pa, De and Fl all arrived safe and sound in Luzern. We had great weather and a great day touring the city of Luzern and taking in the views. After dinner some of us went down to check out the Blue Balls Music Festival (have fun with that) and got back to the hotel just in time to beat one hell of a thunderstorm!! Looking forward to day 2. ... See MoreSee Less

A great day on the Chesapeake Bay. The weather was beautiful and the water had a little chop to add a little adventure to our day. To add to the fun we had a nice hike to a light house, saw eagles and ended the day with all you can eat crabs. Life is good!! ... See MoreSee Less
